I am very excited to say I have started my own podcast, The Pearson Perspective. (my lovely wife came up with the name)
The show will be a deep dive into the stories and mindsets of successful owners and investors.
What do you know about podcasting? Well not much really. I have learned a ton and now I have a sound and production guy. If someone is generous to give me 45 min of their time, I want to really bring it. That starts with great questions, great guests, and great audio.
Are you trying to be the Joe Rogan of real estate? Haha. That’s funny. I am doing this is scratch my own itch. I love talking with people and learning. This is way to share what I am learning with others.
Are you trying to make money? No, not really. It would be nice to break even one day, but I am doing this to have fun.
Why are you doing this then? The first show will be dedicated to my kids. I want them to know their dad was not afraid to fail or take risks. It is a skill I hope to pass to them. As they say, “actions speak louder than words.”
The plan: I am going to record two seasons of twelve episodes each. Ten episodes with be an interview format and two will be a solo format with yours truly. At the end of two seasons, I will reevaluate.
I have already recorded my first show and the first season guest list is just about lined out. I will drop the first show early September.
Lagniappe:
It was short and sweet today. If you enjoyed this today, please forward it to another curious friend. I love your replies to The Real Deal. I read every single one, and I try to respond as often as I can.
